Choose the activities that feel engaging and healing for you, including hiking in the Snowy Range Mountains, try your hand at axe throwing, stargazing in the pristine night sky, or horseback riding. We also will have the opportunity for professional fly fishing lessons!
As always, delicious comforting food will be provided, as well as endless cups of coffee or tea.

Paisley Project Picnic
Get away from the pace and push of your everyday life and join us in the country at a private home near Carter Lake.
We will provide lunch and drinks and plenty of fresh, open air. Activities can include paddle boarding or kayaking on Carter Lake, or hiking on the shore. You can also relax on the front porch and birdwatch.
As always, there will be conversation and connection to other women who get what life is like as a widow.

Combined with the Paisley Project community support, activities, and healthy, prepared cuisine, this retreat in the Adirondack Mountains is an immersive experience that nurtures both the body and the soul, offering a sanctuary for healing, growth, and transformation.

But we can still celebrate the love we have. And there’s lots of love at the Paisley Project. Join us for a joyful, playful alternative take on the holiday. We will gather at the home of a Paisley Project member for wine, cheese, and LOTS of chocolate.
