L.I.V.E. Retreats

Dedicated time for community, creativity, time in nature, and nurturing our bodies is not just for vacations or luxury. Time and time again, science and stories have proven that these are the elements humans need to survive, thrive, and heal—especially following great loss.

Our restorative retreats, whether nature-based or centered around therapeutic activities, offer widows the rare opportunity to disengage from daily demands, cultivate relaxation, re-discover themselves, and build a supportive community who understands what widowhood means.

In addition, we’ve learned that our retreats offer widows an opportunity to practice living again in a safe environment with other people who get it. Practice travel, practice interacting, and begin to develop your own identity.

A Time for Healing Together

Upcoming Retreat

The Barn Gathering, A Day Retreat in Castle Rock, CO
$175.00

August 22, 2026

9:30am to 4:00pm

A quiet day of connection, creativity, and restoration for widows.

Join us for a peaceful day with the Paisley Project community in a beautifully restored historic barn in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Set beneath timber beams and surrounded by wide Colorado skies, this gathering is designed as a gentle pause — a place where widows can step away from the noise of everyday life and spend time in the company of others who understand this path.

There is something deeply healing about sitting in a room where no explanations are needed.

Throughout the day there will be opportunities for conversation, reflection, and creative exploration. Some moments will be lightly guided, while others will simply be open space — to rest, to talk, to journal, to create, or to sit quietly with a cup of tea.

Whether you are newly widowed or many years into this journey, you are welcome here.

There limited partial scholarships available for this event. If you would like more information please contact us at admin@paisleyproject.org.
